Today we went on a tour of our local village of Corciano. Like most places in Italy that are on a hill, the views are wonderful.
Here you can see the supporting wall at the far end of the city and below is the tower at the official entrance to the once-gated city.
We also got to peek in the church which was all decorated with roses for a wedding there that evening! In addition, we visited the charity/brotherhood of St. Anthony and learned about the other brotherhoods of Corciano. We finished the tour off with gelato before heading down the hill to get ready for the evening's pizza competion!
