Today the girls went out shopping in the morning, since we didn't have class until the afternoon. The streets and piazzas were surprisingly so uncrowded. It was almost 10 o'clock when we started out and yet there was not a soul in front of the fountains and all the street vendors weren't prowling the streets yet.
The contrast between this street and the same one in the afternoon and evening is incredible. Even at midnight the streets aren't this empty. I guess people run on a different schedule here.

Oh, and then highlight of the day: I saw a some guys rowing a quad in the middle of the Tiber river! And then after that a single went by. At first I thought he was kayaking but then I was so excited they were real rowers!
My view on the way home by way of the Vatican, people are starting to get out and about. All in all it was a successful shopping day. I got some souvenirs and a bunch of cool postcards for a really great price!
