First day of class

Today was the first day of class in Rome. Our lectures are held in one of the architectural schools in Rome which is a 15 min tram ride from our apartment. A today was all about learning about shear and moment diagrams and influence lines, I will give you a little tour of the apartment.

We are staying in Borgio Pio apts which is near the Vatican City. St. Peter's is a great landmark to lead me home at the end of the day.

This is the bedroom that I share with one other girl. The girls are pretty fortunate, since there are only five of us we get more space than the guys who have at least 4 guys in their apt.

This is our kitchen, which is very small with two hotplates, a toaster, and a microwave. Oh and an electric kettle, which is so handy!
